My First Release / Future Plans
This is kind of weird writing this as this is my first public release of any prototype I've made, though hopefully that wont be the case for long, I have a few others on the back burner right now. This prototype is actually based on a marble game I made awhile back, I introduced a gravity system to allow for movement on other surfaces (think Mario Galaxy)but thought, "Hey I could totally use this for something else!" and here we are. This marble game will also probably get a prototype up here soon as that was pretty much gameplay complete, just need art and level designs....and bug fixes.
I can not commit full time to the project just yet, but that being said I have plenty of resources to ensure it gets the attention it needs and new features added. One of the big features I want to add is Multiplayer Racing, the racing aspect is pretty straight forward, but UNet is on it's way out so....it's a bit hard to justify using that and I want to take advantage of the new system Unity and Google are working on to provide a much better experience and a hopefully more complete feeling one as well.
I am hopeful that this project goes somewhere and I can get a full release out within a year or two, because hell, who doesn't like swinging around like a mad man?
